Lichfield Garrick and panto specialists Evolution Productions are to team up to stage a new adaptation of Sleeping Beauty at the Staffordshire theatre at Christmas 2016.
The Garrick’s artistic director Tim Ford said, “I’m very much looking forward to directing the production and creating a panto that will appeal to the whole family.”
Evolution Productions is led by television presenter Paul Henley and his partner Emily Wood. Henley said, “the Garrick has an incredibly dedicated team and we’re aiming to make Sleeping Beauty the biggest, funniest and most spectacular pantomime Lichfield has ever seen.”
Sleeping Beauty will run at the Garrick from 1 until 31 December.
