Emerging theatre director Rikki Henry will be joining Manchester’s HOME venue in 2015 on the BBC Performing Arts Fund Fellowship programme.

HOME, the venue for the company formed by the merger of Manchester’s Library Theatre Company and Cornerhouse, will open as a new multi-art form centre in spring 2015.

HOME recently announced its opening weekend programme for May, including The Funfair, the world première of Stockport playwright Simon Stephens’s new version of the classic play Kasimir and Karoline by Ödön von Horváth, which will be directed by artistic director for theatre, Walter Meierjohann.

Further productions for 2015 will be announced in January.
