The London Musical Theatre Orchestra will give its first full-scale public concert at London's Cadogan Hall next month with a performance of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s State Fair.
This will be the first hearing of this show with a fully orchestrated score in London.
State Fair was originally written by Rodgers and Hammerstein as a film; songs include Academy Award-winning "It Might As Well Be Spring", "You Never Had It So Good" and "The Man I Used to Be".
The 32-piece London Musical Theatre Orchestra will be conducted by founder Freddie Tapner, whilst Thom Southerland who directed the show in 2009 in London directs a cast which includes Wendi Peters, Richard Fleeshman, Emma Hatton, Oliver Savile and Celinde Schoenmaker.
State Fair will be on at the Cadogan Hall on 6 November.
