In August, Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre sets up its eco-friendly mobile theatre, the Den, at The East Manchester Academy for its fourth summer festival.
For two weeks, this pop-up theatre will be brought to life by the residents of Beswick, Openshaw and Clayton. Packed with workshops, family fun days, photography exhibitions, plays, comedy and a local double-bill, there is something for everyone.
The East Manchester Community Festival will take place August 11–19 and is a celebration of Manchester’s creative communities and access to art.
