On August 10 Stockport Plaza really will have seats at all prices!

On that day, it is taking out all its 1250 seats and selling them as part of the latest fundraising event.

They will all be replaced with exact replicas of the originals clad in antique gold and deep blue moquette produced by heritage seating specialists Kirwin and Simpson under the guidance of Plaza vice chairman and technical director Gary Trinder.

Stockport’s 1932 Art Deco cinema and variety theatre will reopen on Friday August 22 with a special 20th birthday screening of The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
