The Give a Little Extra campaign sees theatre audiences and supporters contributing to collections at The Marlowe or donating by text, with funds benefiting the venue's charitable arm, The Marlowe Theatre Development Trust, which provides theatre experiences for those who otherwise might not have access to them.

Fundraising Chairman Paul Barrett said “Christmas is a magical time but going to the theatre is magical too. You only have to look at the excited expressions on the children’s faces at Jack And The Beanstalk.

“The Marlowe Theatre Development Trust sees how contact with the arts can enrich and indeed change lives and we ask theatre enthusiasts to help us share that magic with children and those less fortunate through our new fundraising campaign, Give a Little Extra.”

If you would like to support The Marlowe's fundraising initiative donations may be made by texting XTRA11, followed by the amount (£1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10) to 70070.
