A five week run of concerts at The Palladium, where Frank Sinatra made his British singing début, will mark the 100th anniversary of the birth of Frank Sinatra next year.
Sinatra 100 is a series of concerts with a rotating bill of A-list international guest artists sharing the stage with Sinatra interpreter Richard Shelton.
Shelton was nominated as Best Actor in a Leading Role in the Manchester Evening News Theatre Awards for his performance as Sinatra in Rat Pack Confidential. His re–creation of Sinatra’s The Main Event concert at New York’s Madison Square Garden, sold out London's Cadogan Hall.
The full line-up of guest artists will be announced soon.
11 times Grammy Award–winner Frank Sinatra is one of the biggest-selling artists of all time who worked in film, television and music. He twice topped the bill at the London Palladium in 1950 and 1975.
Sinatra 100 opens 20 March.
