The Grand Theatre in Blackpool will be throwing open its doors on September 16 as part of national Heritage Open Day.
Pop in anytime from 9:30AM to 2PM to roam the famous theatre tiers and experience the backstage wonders of the Grade II* listed building, crafted in 1894 by flamboyant architect Frank Matcham.
It’s not a guided tour but an opportunity to step inside and look around. For those seeking a more in-depth look, there will be free 30-minute guided tours at 10AM, 11AM and noon. Only 20 places available for each tour so book early.
