New seating in Manchester's Palace Theatre

Ambassador Theatre Group has invested around £40,000 installing 480 new seats in the Palace Theatre, Manchester, which use the latest technology to increase comfort of the audience.

This month saw 480 seats in the Oxford Street theatre replaced with new ProBax seating. The stalls received 407 of the seats, with the front rows of the circle (39 seats) and grand tier (34 seats) also replaced.

The Palace’s sister venue, the Opera House, is also due to receive ProBax seating in the next three to four years.

The technology increases comfort for the seat user and encourages correct posture.
