The My Theatre Matters! public vote winners for the Most Welcoming Theatre Award for 2015 in the UK's 12 regions have been announced.
The winning theatres are:
- East - Brookside Theatre, Romford
- East Midlands - Buxton Opera House & Pavilion Arts Centre
- London - Hackney Empire
- North East - Newcastle Theatre Royal
- Northern Ireland - Lyric Theatre, Belfast
- North West - Theatre by the Lake, Keswick
- Scotland - Pitlochry Festival Theatre
- South East - Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury
- South West - Theatre Royal Plymouth (The Lyric & Drum)
- Wales - Clwyd Theatr Cymru
- West Midlands - New Vic Theatre, Newcastle-under-Lyme
- Yorkshire & Humberside - Sheffield Theatres (Crucible, Lyceum and Studio)
One theatre will be announced as the overall winner during a ceremony at London's Guildhall on Sunday 18 October.
