Organisers of The British Citizen Awards have made a final call to receive nominations for people whose contribution to the arts has made a difference to their communities.

The deadline for nominations is 6 October.

BCA development director, Sara Yarrow, said, “we would love to have more nominations from the arts world, as we know there’s lots of fantastic people doing some incredible work throughout the sector and we want to honour people for it.

“Since they launched, the BCAs have really captured the imagination of the public, who have nominated people making a massive impact on their communities.

“It’s been incredible to reward remarkable human beings across the country and we look forward to honouring more exceptional people within our communities during this next round of awards.”

As well as the award for Service to Arts, the categories include Service to Industry, Education, Healthcare and Volunteering & Charitable Giving.

Anyone may be nominated—there are no restrictions on age.
