The Three Lions, which enjoyed critical success at last year's Edinburgh Fringe, is to undertake a short tour next spring.
This comedy takes a behind-the-scenes look at what really went on between David Cameron, David Beckham and Prince William in a Swiss hotel the night before England’s bid to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
The play is written by actor William Gaminara, whose credits include Professor Leo Dalton in eleven series of BBC1’s Silent Witness.
Amongst Gaminara's writing credits are Back up the Hearse and Let Them Sniff the Flowers, According to Hoyle and Flesh and Blood for the theatre and War Stories, Ella and The Mothers, The Lakes and This Life for television.
The cast for The Three Lions includes Dugald Bruce-Lockhart, Tom Davey and Séan Browne recreating their roles. Philip Wilson directs.
The tour opens at Yvonne Arnaud, Guildford on 2 March and then takes in The New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich, Liverpool Playhouse and St James Theatre, London.
