Things are hotting up in Havana—in Chichester

The multi-award-winning musical Guys and Dolls opened in 1950, winning five Tony Awards including Best Musical and becoming a 1955 movie starring Marlon Brando as Sky Masterson and Frank Sinatra as Nathan Detroit.

American director Gordon Greenberg makes his directorial debut at Chichester with this revival, with choreograhy by Carlos Acosta with co-choreography by Andrew Wright (Singin' in the Rain, Barnum).

The cast incudes Peter Poycarpou as Nathan Detroit, returnig to Cichester following his performance in The Pajama Game (2013), and Sophie Thompson as Miss Adelaide. Her last appearance at Chichester was in The Chalk Garden (1986).

Guys and Dolls runs at Chichester Festival Theatre from 11 August to 21 September.
