Les Enfants Terribles celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Alice in Wonderland

The mixed-arts festival based in Waterloo's The Vaults is back for a third year with over 70 shows together with live music and late night parties.

Presenting a wide range of performances across drama, cabaret, clowning and comedy as well as other genres, and including panel debates, masterclasses and workshops, events take place in six spaces.

This year's six-week Vault Festival is loosely themed around quality in politics, gender and income and starts on 28 January.

Included in the programme is the London début of darkly comic one-man Edinburgh hit, Big Sean, Mikey And Me, the Filter Theatre and Tobacco Factory Theatre co–production of Macbeth which tours nationally from 20 January and the return of last year’s sell-out show The Artful Badger.

New for this year are three weekends of events programmed especially for families and children under 11.

Mini Vault is designed to encourage audiences to play, dance, make and run wild in the secret tunnels includes circus, theatre, music, comedy and craft events and a family friendly rave.

Also new for 2015 is a free gallery showcasing permanent and guest wall art and photography and offering curated live art performance installations.

Advance news too of Les Enfants Terribles Theatre Company's visit to The Vault.

Marking the 150th Anniversary of Alice in Wonderland, they are building Wonderland in Waterloo.

With over 30 performers and using story-telling, circus, puppets, live music, interactivity, shrinking, growing and Flamingo croquet they offer a unique take on Carroll's stories.

Another way to share the experience is to invest in the show, and funding opportunities are still available.
