Cinderella at Wolverhampton Grand

Wolverhampton’s Grand Theatre has already announced its Christmas panto for 2014/15: Cinderella.

The production, last performed at the Grand in 2009, will coincide with the theatre’s 120th birthday.

A gala performance of Cinderella will take place on Wednesday 10 December, 120 years to the day since the Grand opened its doors to the public in 1894.

Grand Theatre chief executive Peter Cutchie said, “I’m thrilled to be working with Qdos pantomimes to bring the magic of Cinderella to Wolverhampton for 2014/15 in what is a special year for the Grand Theatre.

Cinderella has long been a favourite of the pantomime repertoire and the fact that this production coincides with the 120th anniversary of the theatre’s original opening is a particularly exciting prospect for the venue and the city.”

Cinderella will run from Saturday 6 December 2014 until Sunday 18 January 2015.
