Ug is the latest production by the Shattering Images theatre company based in Lancaster.

It’s a show devised and created by a cast of young people with learning needs inspired by the popular children’s story, Stig Of The Dump.

“It explores the clash of cultures between Stone Age life and modern life,” explained director, Jilly Sumsion.

It’s also a story of how people can feel wrapped up in cotton wool in a society which is fast becoming risk averse.

Performances take place in The Dukes Centre for Creative Learning on June 10 at 1PM and 7PM and on June 12 at 7PM.
