Grimm's Fairy TalesThe Pantaloons will be performing Grimm Fairy Tales outdoors at Nottingham Castle on Tuesday at 6.30pm.

Leamington Spa-based Heartbreak Productions will be staging its open-air show of E Nesbitt’s The Railway Children at Brueton Park, Solihull on Tuesday and Calke Abbey, Ticknall, Derbyshire on Thursday.

The professional production team at Leicester’s Curve will be joining a local cast to mount a community production of Oliver! at the theatre from Tuesday until Sunday, 12 August.

Worcestershire-based Little English Theatre puts its own spin on open-air Shakespeare in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Moor Hall Hotel, Sutton Coldfield on Wednesday, Tutbury Castle, Staffordshire on Friday, Boughton House, Northamptonshire on Saturday and Quorn Grange Hotel, Quorn, Leicestershire on Sunday.

Twelfth NightThe Festival Players will be performing Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night in the outdoor arena at mac, Birmingham next Sunday at 7.30pm.

CBeebies television hit Grandpa in my Pocket which is making its stage debut continues at Nottingham Playhouse until Saturday, 11 August.

Audiences are having the time of their life at Birmingham Hippodrome as Dirty Dancing continues until Saturday, 25 August.

At the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford, in the Courtyard Theatre Much Ado about Nothing continues until 15 September (press night Wednesday, 1 August); in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre The Comedy of Errors continues until 6 October, Twelfth Night until 6 October and The Tempest until 7 October; and in the Swan Richard III and King John continue until 15 September.
