The Tear Thief adapted from the book by, Carol Ann Duffy, shortly at the Unicorn Theatre then touring Oxford, Nottingham and Manchester

The Little Angel Theatre, now in its 51st year, has long been a venue that punches above its weight, producing innovative and interesting puppet theatre, hosting biennial adult puppetry festival Suspense, collaborating with major players such as the RSC and providing courses and educational outreach initiatives.

The 2012–2013 season sees Little Angel productions visiting in excess of a hundred venues and delivering nearly six hundred performances.

This programme, overseen by tour producer Miranda Pitcher, more than doubles the touring output on the previous season which included trips to Canada and the Czech Republic.

The Theatre's Christmas show for 2 to 6 year olds, Dogs Don’t Do Ballet, will tour from February, The Tear Thief adapted from the book by Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy, which had a sell out run at Little Angel, is shortly to open at Unicorn Theatre and will then visit Oxford, Nottingham and Manchester.

The Magician’s Daughter by Michael Rosen was previously seen at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival and plays the New Wolsey, Ipswich, from 4 December 2012 whilst last year's Christmas success A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings, co-produced with Kneehigh Theatre starts the new year at Battersea Arts Centre then tours, returning to The Little Angel in March.
