The Chichester Festival production of Guys and Dolls comes to Newcastle’s Theatre Royal on Tuesday and runs until 2 April.

The RSC’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream: A Play for the Nation continues at Northern Stage until Saturday.

Alphabetti Theatre presents Continuum, a play developed with Live Theatre, from Tuesday to Friday, and the March Alphabetti Soup (music, comedy, theatre and soup) is on Saturday night.

At Sunderland Empire on Monday, Jodie Prenger stars in Tell Me on a Sunday. Then on Thursday Ellen Kent brings Opera & Ballet International’s Tosca to the theatre.

On Saturday, North East comedy improv group The Suggestibles performs at Arts Centre Washington.

On Thursday, the 30th anniversary tour of Stones in His Pockets comes to the Customs House in South Shields.

At Alnwick Playhouse this week NORTH 2016’s production of Animal Farm is on Wednesday and on Thursday Scottish dance company Plan B presents And now….

On Saturday at 5PM, London Contemporary Theatre brings children’s show Stig of the Dump to Durham’s Gala Theatre.

On Thursday, Rebecca Vaughan performs Austen’s Women at Middlesbrough Theatre.

At ARC Stockton, Lyngo Theatre presents The Curious Adventures of Pinocchio for age 4+ at 11:30AM and 2:30PM on Friday.

On Monday, Ellen Kent presents Opera & Ballet International’s Carmen at Darlington Civic.

At Harrogate Theatre this week, Chip Shop Chips (Monday to Wednesday in The Studio) is sold out but there are still tickets available for Swansea City Opera’s La Bohème in the Main House on Wednesday and for Punching the Sky in the Studio on Thursday.
