Although the theatre is closed, The Maltings in Berwick goes online for Christmas. As well as co-commissioning Christmas with the Hobs with Alnwick Playhouse, The Queen’s Hall, Hexham and CaroleW Productions, the venue is making its 2019 panto, Aladdin, available online on The Maltings’ YouTube channel free until 11:50 on 31 December.
It began streaming on Saturday morning and by midday on Wednesday had been viewed over 1,000 times.
