Although this year's pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs doesn't open until Friday 12 December, Sunderland Empire has already announced that next year's show will be Aladdin.
General Manager Ben Phillips said, "the response to pantomime has been wonderful and we look forward to hosting another high-flying pantomime from Martin Dodd for UK Productions in 2015."
Aladdin joins a long list of shows already announced for 2015, including the National Theatre's One Man, Two Guvnors (19 to 24 January), Dirty Dancing (27 January to 14 February), The Full Monty (23 to 28 February), Calamity Jane (3 to 7 March), Wicked (31 March to 25 April), The Producers (11 to 16 May), Spamalot (18 to 23 May), Top Hat (24 June to 4 July) and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (10 to 15 August).
