Following its première in 2016, Akram Khan’s reimagining of Giselle for English National Ballet will return to London this autumn with performances at Sadler’s Wells from 20 to 23 September 2017.
There will be an additional matinée performance on 22 September and the production will tour to Liverpool Empire Theatre from 25 to 28 October.
To coincide with these performances English National Ballet presents Giselle Explored, a series of collaborative dance workshops for secondary school students.
English National Ballet has partnered with Queens Theatre, Hornchurch, to deliver workshops in the East London Borough of Havering and will also work with schools in Tower Hamlets and Liverpool.
Giselle will also tour to Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, Dublin from 2 to 6 May 2018 to open the 2018 Dublin Dance Festival.
