Northumberland Theatre Company is looking for four new short plays to tour in 2015 and invites writers to submit proposals by 24 October.
Plays must be:
- on the theme Myth, Music, Mayhem and Mirth
- no longer than 30 minutes
- for six actors (3M, 3F) although more characters are possible with doubling of which two will be trainees (probably under 26) and two will be older (50 - 60)
- be suitable for intergenerational audiences of 15+ as well as theatre audiences
One of these plays will be a musical.
Writers could be beginners or established and those chosen will receive an inclusive fee of £1000.
