Overdue

Overdue by Arabella Arnott, produced by Coracle and playing at Alphabetti in Newcastle from 5 to 16 September (not Sunday or Monday), has added a new date and a new venue to its run.

The extra performance will be on Monday 11 September (one of its “nights off” at Alphabetti) at 7:30 at the George Street Social, a cafe / bar / social / event space / venue hire run by The Road to Recovery Trust.

"This new play by Arabella Arnott tells the story of Beth, a thirty-something woman, coming to terms with some difficult choices she faced as a teenager,” said the play’s director Matt Jamie.

“It tackles some challenging themes (which are particularly relevant in the current political climate with women’s choices being challenged in Northern Ireland and in the United States) but Arabella hasn’t written an ‘issue play’ here—this is a touching and often witty drama about relationships, growing up, dealing with the past and confronting fears.”
