Stopgap Dance spring tour

The Enormous Room from Stopgap Dance Company, featuring disabled performer David Toole and Hannah Sampson as a father and daughter living different experiences of grief, will tour from 8 February to 20 March 2018.

Toole performed a prominent solo in the 2012 Paralympic Opening Ceremony and was in physical theatre company DV8's 2004 film The Cost Of Living. Sampson, a young dancer with Down’s syndrome, has received more than 10 years of training with Stopgap Dance Company.

Also in the cast are non-disabled dancers Amy Butler and Meritxell Checa, Cambodian wheelchair dancer Nadenh Poan and Christian Brinklow from Great Yarmouth.

The production is choreographed by Lucy Bennett, Stopgap’s Artistic Director.
