Vadim Muntagirov, who is defecting to the Royal Opera House, will honour his commitment to perform in English National Ballet's Romeo and Juliet in-the-round at the Royal Albert Hall in June 2014 after all, partnering Daria Klimentová as usual. These will be his last performances for ENB.

Royal Ballet's artistic director, Kevin O'Hare, told the Observer this weekend, "I asked Vadim straight away about his contractual obligations at the ENB and he said he had Le Corsaire in Manchester, but had not been cast in anything else as far as he knew. He did want to dance Romeo and Juliet for them, though, which he will do."

Principal casting will also include Tamara Rojo and Carlos Acosta, Alina Cojacaru and Friedemann Vogel, guesting from Stuttgart Ballet.
