At Northern Stage Tallest Tales from the Furthest Forest (for the under-6s) continues until 4th January in Stage 2 and in Stage 1 Dark Woods, Deep Snow. A Grimm Tale for Christmas runs until 28th December.

Trashed Organ and Live Lab's Christmas Noir cabaret show is at Live Theatre on Wednesday.

The Mill Volvo Tyne Theatre's panto Sleeping Beauty runs until 30th December.

Cinderella runs at Sunderland Empire until 5th January.

At Alnwick Playhouse PuppetShip presents Snowdome, a wintry theatre experience for children aged 0-2 (10am show) or 3-4 (12pm & 2pm shows), and their grown ups.

Cinderella opens on Friday and runs until 31st December at The Maltings in Berwick.
