Singin' Alang the Promenade (Tyne Theatre and Opera House and Playhouse Whitley Bay)

Singin’ Alang the Promenade, a tribute to the north east coastal region and the industries of yesteryear through song, comedy and drama, is at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House.

Geordie the Musical opens at the Customs House in South Shields on Friday and runs until 5 September.

Singin’ Alang the Promenade comes to Playhouse Whitley Bay on Sunday.

The Harrogate Gilbert and Sullivan Festival concludes this week with performances of Princess Ida, Utopia Ltd, Ruddigore, The Yeomen of the Guard, HMS Pinafore, Iolanthe, The Gondoliers, The Mikado and a double bill of The Zoo and Trial by Jury in the Harrogate Theatre Main House and the Harrogate Royal Hall.
