Mamma Mia! continues at Newcastle’s Theatre Royal until Saturday.

There are two events in Stage 3 at Northern Stage this week. On Tuesday, Kieran Hurley performs Heads Up, the stories of four witnesses to the end of the world, and on Thursday, Theatre Hoodang! (formerly NORTH16) presents The Wrong Honourable Game Show, where Question Time meets Celebrity Juice, Cabaret meets Conference and revolution meets rave.

Patrick Marber’s The Red Lion continues at Live Theatre until 6 May.

On Saturday (at 3 and 7PM) and Sunday (1 and 5PM) the Easter panto The Wizard of Oz comes to the Tyne Theatre and Opera House.

CBeebies’ The Chris & Pui Show is at the Customs House in South Shields on Monday at 11AM and 2PM.

2Magpies Theatre brings Ventoux to Alnwick Playhouse on Tuesday.

On Tuesday at 11AM and 2PM, Kitchen Zoo brings The Owl and the Pussycat to the Queen’s Hall in Hexham—but both shows are already sold out.

Dinosaur World, for age 3+, is at Durham’s Gala Theatre on Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 and 2:30.

Yet another Easter panto, Robin Hood starring Gareth Gates, comes to Middlesbrough Theatre in Sunday at 3 and 7PM.

Christopher Nibble, a play for children aged 2 to 7, is at the Hartlepool Town Hall Theatre on Tuesday at 2PM. Then on Thursday at 11AM and 2PM Kitchen Zoo brings The Owl and the Pussycat to the venue.

At Stockton’s ARC on Wednesday Yolanda Mercy is having a Quarter Life Crisis.

On Saturday at the Georgian Theatre in Richmond Rhodri Mills plays Burton, the story of Richard Burton.
