Theatre Space NE presents its promenade production of Much Ado About Nothing in Barnes Park, Sunderland, from Thursday to Sunday at 6:00. Meet at the cafe.

On Wednesday, the Customs House in South Shields presents a Murder Mystery Night in the Daltons Suite. The price (£19.95) includes a two-course meal and coffee.

The Billingham Festival of World Dance runs all week in various venues around the town culminating, on Friday, with the World Dance Gala Concert featuring All International Dance Companies at the Billingham Forum.

In Stockton on Saturday, Beryl and Bertie, two elderly swing dancers remembering the good old days with a mixture of acrobatics, swing dance, and very silly faces, will pop up for a five-minute performance every now and then between noon and 2PM.

On Wednesday, Blunderbus brings Dogs Don't Do Ballet, based on the bestselling children’s book by Anna Kemp and Sara Ogilvie, to The Coach House lawn at Middleton Lodge in Richmond, North Yorkshire, at 3PM.
