Northern Stage’s production of Theresa Heskins’s version of Alice in Wonderland has its first performance in Stage 1 on Saturday and runs until 6 January 2018.

Live Theatre’s revival of Nina Berry’s The Terminal Velocity of Snowflakes opens in the Studio on Wednesday and runs until 16 December. There is one change from the previous cast, with Daniel Watson replacing Dean Bone who is currently playing in Live’s production of The Red Lion at London’s Trafalgar Studios.

Tooth+Nail Theatre Company in partnership with CaroleW Productions presents Hummingbird at Alphabetti from Tuesday to Friday. Then on Saturday, Spontaneous Wrecks present Spontaneous Carrots Comedy Special, an evening of improvised and sketch comedy.

Tango Moderno is at Sunderland Empire from Monday to Wednesday.

Durham’s Gala Theatre’s pantomime, Robinson Crusoe, opens on Thursday and runs until 6 January.

Every Cloud Entertainments presents Dick Whittington and his Pirate Adventure at Bishop Auckland Town Hall from Saturday until Monday (various times).

At ARC Stockton on Tuesday at 7:00, Protein Dance presents Border Tales, a commentary on multicultural Britain through dance, live music and dialogue compiled from the performers’ personal experiences. This is a Pay What You Decide event. Then on Wednesday, Powder Keg presents Morale is High (Since we gave up Hope), another PWYD performance.
