Peter Pan continues at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle until 21 January.

At Northern Stage, Alice in Wonderland continues until 6 January. From Tuesday until 30 December (various times), Little Angel Theatre’s Me…, for ages 2 to 4 and based on the book by popular children’s author Emma Dodd comes to Stage 3.

The Terminal Velocity of Snowflakes runs at Live Theatre until 16 December.

From Tuesday to Friday at Alphabetti, Roisin Crowley Linton in partnership with CaroleW Productions presents one-woman show Be More, Do Better But Don't Change, a blend of poetry, stand-up and personal storytelling.

The Tyne Theatre and Opera House’s panto Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs opens on Friday and runs until 31 December.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs continues at NE6 Suite in Newcastle until 15 December.

Sleeping Beauty opens at Gateshead International Stadium in Friday and continues until 30 December.

From Wednesday to Sunday (various times), Lily and the Little Snowbear (for ages 3+) is at Arts Centre Washington.

At the Customs House in South Shields, the panto The Lambton Worm runs until 6 January in the Main House while in The Studio, Santa’s Naughty Elf (for the under-7s) runs until 24 December. Many performances of Santa’s N E are sold out and there is only limited availability at others.

On Thursday at 7:00, Ballet Theatre UK brings The Nutcracker to Alnwick Playhouse.

On Friday at The Maltings in Berwick, Theatre Tours International and Maverick Theatre Company present A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, performed by Guy Masterson, and adapted and directed by Nick Hennegan.

On Wednesday, Adam Z Robinson in association with Little Mighty presents The Book of Darkness and Light, three ghost stories told by an actor and a musician. Recommended age 14+

Cinderella continues at Playhouse Whitley Bay until 7 January.

Robinson Crusoe continues at Durham’s Gala Theatre until 6 January. In the Studio from Monday until 30 December (various times), the theatre presents Mrs Claus’ Kitchen for the under-7s. There are some performances which are not sold out.

Cinderella continues at the Empire Theatre in Consett until 31 December.

Cinderella continues at Billingham Forum until 7 January.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs opens at Middlesbrough Theatre on Friday and runs until 14 January.

At ARC Stockton from Monday until 23 December (various times), Nearly There Yet presents Pinocchio for age 3+, featuring circus, puppets and storytelling.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs opens at Darlington Hippodrome on Sunday 9 December and continues until 14 January.

The Wizard of Oz opens at the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond on Thursday and runs until 7 January.

Beauty and the Beast opens at Harrogate Theatre on Wednesday and runs until 21 January.

The Russian State Ballet and Opera are at Harrogate’s Royal Hall this week, presenting The Nutcracker on Wednesday (already sold out) and Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet on Thursday.
