Isolation, the play written for the Customs House Takeover in May by the Young Writer in Residence Elijah Young, transfers to Alphabetti from 15 to 18 October.

Again directed by Jake Smith, it will be performed by Cameron Sharp, Jake Jarratt, Daniel Watson, Jude Nelson and Kiera Falcus, who were members of the original cast. They will be joined by Natasha Haws, Luke Maddison and Leah Mains.

Natasha Haws has just finished playing Pamela Buckley in Miss Crispy 1988 for Less is MORE Productions (Middlesbrough Theatre), before which she played Hilda in The Dolly Mixtures (Customs House). She has appeared in four Customs House pantos and was Festival Co-ordinator for the Takeover at which Isolation was first performed.

Most recently, Luke Maddison appeared in The War of the Worlds (Northern Stage and tour), When the Boat Comes In Part 1 and Part 2 (Customs House), Everywhere We Go (Boyle Yer Stotts) and Leaving (Curious Monkey national tour).

Leah Mains’s most recent appearance in the North East was in West End Girls as part of the Live Theatre Elevator Festival. Her other credits include Care (The Pappy Show / Latitude festival and HOME Manchester), Non-Bio (Barbican Launderette), To kill a Mockingbird (Lyric Hammersmith), Victoria's Knickers (Soho Theatre). She was also a graduate of the National Youth Theatre REP Company 2018.
