The annual Ballet Icons Gala, presented and organised by Ensemble Productions since 2006 (BTG reviewing it since 2011), returns to the London Coliseum on 26 November 2021 for one night only.

The programme, which celebrates the Russian school of ballet training, will present global ballet stars including Natalia Osipova (Royal Ballet), Jeffrey Cirio (English National Ballet), Liudmila Konovalova (Vienna State Ballet), Julian MacKay (San Francisco Ballet), Daniil Simkin (Staatsballett Berlin/ABT), Giuseppe Picone (Teatro di San Carlo) and many more.

The Gala‘s 2021 programme will present both classical and contemporary ballet performed by principal dancers from the UK and around the world, accompanied by the English National Ballet Philharmonic orchestra under the direction of Benjamin Pope.

Olga Balakleets, CEO of Ensemble Productions, said, “what a delight to celebrate ballet and dance again and to bring together so many wonderful dancers from all around the world under the umbrella of the Ballet Icons Gala. The break from live performances made us realize how precious they are and on 26 November we are excited to present a new splendid programme which, apart from much-loved classics, will include contemporary masterpieces and several world premières.”
