Newcastle Theatre Royal’s panto, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, continues until 9 January 2022. Because of a Covid outbreak, all performances from 21 to 27 December cancelled.

At Northern Stage, the Christmas show, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, runs until 31 December. Because of a COVID outbreak, all performances are cancelled.

Bonnie and Fanny's Christmas Spectacular, featuring Bonnie and the Bonnettes and Your Aunt Fanny, is at Live Theatre until Thursday.

Alphabetti Theatre and Archipelago present Santa Must Die!, a Christmas gig experience about working during the most difficult time of the year, at Alphabetti from Thursday until 31 December. Because of a Covid outbreak, all performances before Christmas are cancelled. Performances from 29 - 31 December are under review.

Sleeping Beauty at the Tyne Theatre and Opera House runs until 3 January.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Sunderland Empire runs until 2 January.

Rapunzel, the Customs House panto, continues until 6 January, 2022.

In the Studio at The Customs House, Cousin Dennis starring in Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, a show for the under-7s, runs until Friday (various times).

Mendes Management presents Beauty and the Beast at The Exchange, North Shields until 24 December.

At Laurels, Whitey Bay, Anti-Christmas, “a very weird and pretty dark comedy”, runs from Tuesday to Thursday at 7:15 and Cinderella runs from Monday to Thursday.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs runs at Playhouse Whitley Bay until 2 January.

From Saturday until 28 December, Alnwick Playhouse presents A Viking Christmas, a mid-winter show for all the family.

Snow White opens at The Maltings, Berwick, on Saturday and runs until 30 December (various times).

The Remarkable Robin Armstrong’s Extraordinary Christmas Adventure at The Queen’s Hall, Hexham runs until 28 December (various times).

The Adventures of Robin Hood, the panto at Durham’s Gala Theatre, runs until 9 January.

The Nutcracker Re-Miced continues at The Gala, Durham until Friday (various times mornings and afternoons).

Treasure Island, Consett Empire’s panto, runs until 31 December.

The Witham, Barnard Castle presents its first panto, Sleeping Beauty, until Friday (various times).

Aladdin at Billingham Forum runs until 3 January.

Cinderella at the Borough Hall, Hartlepool continues until Friday.

Kitchen Zoo’s The Tin Foil Astronaut, a show for 3- to 7-year-olds, is at ARC Stockton until Friday (various times).

Peter Pan at Middlesbrough Theatre runs until 31 December.

Cinderella runs at Darlington Hippodrome until 31 December.

Mavis Sparkle, a show for age 4+, is at The Hullabaloo, Darlington, at 11:00 and 2:00 until Friday.

Beauty and the Beast continues at The Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond (various times) until 9 January.

Cinderella runs at Harrogate Theatre until 16 January.
