A graduate of the University of London, Amy studied BA Theatre Studies and Drama at Royal Holloway and then an MA at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
She has been reviewing for British Theatre Guide since 2009.
Theatrical projects include:
Festivals- As one half of MDA productions Amy has written and performed pieces specifically created for festival settings including The Theatre Tent at GuilFest.
MDA were delighted to perform ‘Are you sitting comfortably’ at the first ever Guildford Fringe Festival in 2013 and produced the sequel ‘Here’s another one we made earlier’ the following year.
In 2016 Amy directed 'The Boy on the Swing' by Joe Harbot for the Guildford Fringe Festival.
Jubilation! - A show commissioned by Guildford Borough Council to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and also the 15th birthday of The Electric Theatre. Amy co-wrote and co-directed the piece, which brought together over 60 local performers.
